Easy Pete is a good man.
That's why you should never kill him.
Or face dire consequences.
Sons of the Prospectors is the title of my latest project for Fallout: New Vegas, and let me tell you, it's shaping up to be a doozy.
The story opens with the bog standard "kill random asshole raider, collect bounty"; the player is contracted by a still-unnamed NPC that is dishing out bounties to any wastelander looking to make a few extra caps. The player is expected to take on two to three bounties before receiving a contract to kill Easy Pete. The bounty was placed on his head by again, a still-unnamed NPC. The reasons for this are unclear at this point, all the player knows is this asshole wants Pete dead. Not injured, maimed, fucking dead.
Well, the player does this! The player goes and kills Easy Pete.
And thus begins the apocalypse.
Of course, if Easy Pete is already dead when this plugin is loaded, none of this can happen, and there is an in-story explanation for this. So make sure Easy Pete hasn't been killed yet, wastelanders!
That's all I can give out right now, but stay tuned for more!
